Wichita State University’s Public Policy and Management Center uses WSU students as secret shoppers to help workforce training centers improve their services for people in search of employment and job training.
Aug. 4, 2022 - Wichita State University’s Office of Innovation and New Ventures will address technology gaps in the local business ecosystem with the formation of the Small Business Digital Transformation Program. The program is funded with a $1 million grant from the American Rescue Plan Act. The Small Business Digital Transformation Program focuses on small businesses (500 or fewer employees).
July 28, 2022 - More than 1,000 local Amazon employees can now receive tuition assistance at Wichita State University through the Amazon Career Choice program. Each full-time Amazon employee is eligible for $5,250 of tuition assistance per calendar year. Part-time employees are eligible for $2,625 per calendar year.
